    Kasich is out

It seems odd that TRump is looking to an "elected official" for his VP as well.

He was only in it to make sure Cruz did not catch Trump.

Yep. Kasich wants to be Trump's VP. He kept Cruz from winning, and he is popular in Ohio (for some weird reason). He'll be kissing Trump's ring before sundown.

Wait.... Last week y'all were claiming a super PAC between Cruz and Kasich to oust Trump on the nomination.... How quick y'all flip on a "partner".

Man, when you start to peel back the layers of the onion and see all the steps and machinations that "they" put in place to keep Cruz from the White House, it really a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.

I'm impressed at the amount of operational security it took to pull something like this off without the endgame being exposed.

yup, agree with the sentiments above. Its the most probable reason i can think of. why get out now?? its not like hes any worse off than you were on Monday. for the record Kasich would be a decent VP candidate. Trump has to win Ohio. Rubio wouldnt be a bad choice either, same reason, gotta win Florida. I believe he gains more with them then he would with cruz. A strong establishment, minority female would be a good choice to help mend some burnt bridges.

I voted for Kasich in the Texas primary but he lost all credibility with me when he continued to run and try to argue that he had a path to the presidency. Turn off.

Wouldn't it be interesting if, with all the hindsight of all the voters in the GOP primaries, how would people vote now and who would win?

Kasich is not a conservative by any means, he is another rhino and if trump picks him I'll stay home. Trump is going to need a solid conservative to keep him from reverting back to his once liberal views. Kasich should have never been on the republican ticket, he probably could have won as a democrat.

In my humble OPINION, Kasich will not be the choice Trump makes for VP.
