Well this story really starts last weekend when I had a chip shot on a doe at 20 yards and I shot low, trailed a few scattered spots of blood for about 30 yards then looked another 3 hours only to find 2 more spots of blood in roughly 200 yards so after looking at the video several times we decided she might have been ok.
Now fast forward to Yesterday morning, after kicking myself all week and watching the video several hundred times I was back in the same stand. Feeder went off at 6:45 and shortly after two does were at the feeder eating I watched waiting for good light, another doe started coming in but was acting spooky and left as quick as she showed up. So at 7:10, only 10 minutes shy of being exactly a week apart I had enough light to video so i hit record and waited for my shot, it wasn't long until I got it perfect double lung and took off and I was pretty sure i heard a crash but went ahead and gave her a full hour to die and see if anything else would come in. The razor trick blew right through her and I had good blood on my arrow but minimal blood trail, luckily when I walked to the spot I had seen her go into the woods she was laying 15 yards away....the best part of it was when I walked up I immediately saw it was the same doe from last weekend so I guess i didn't lose her after all.
