I just cut 2 pieces about 6" long and twisted them around a field point pretty tight, cut it where the meat and hammer it flat on a flat surface. I bent the first bend 1/2"Comment

The reason you might not be able to see the tack weld is because it wasn't done yet in the picture

Destry, I took an arrow insert for glue on heads and put it into a .38 casing. It works well for stumping, and f you tinker a little bit you can get them close to your actual hunting weight heads. Thought that maybe this could add another perspective to your small game point. I'll try to remember to post a pic tomorrow.Comment

You can forgo the special adapter and just use a 8-32 threaded screw as well. Search for small game head on the trad forum and you will see alot of interesting and inexpensive heads.Comment
