So I got rifle and I decided I did not like the plastic grip with all the other walnut furniture that came on it. So I took a few measurements and did some drawing. I realized I could make it out of laminated 1/4 inch stock. So I made a stencil and used some double sided tape to hold 4 pieces of 1/4 thick walnut together while I cut it. Then I separated the 4 pieces and cut out the center 2 how I needed them to be and driller them out. Once that was done I glued everything together and ran it through the spindle sander before I ran it through a 1/2 inch round over on the router table, Be very careful if you do this. Then some final shaping by hand and final sanding and dye and seal.
