Cleaning a pond?

I was thinking i might rake out the growth in this pond
Would that do any good,or should i even worry about it?

I think you would be spitting in the wind. There are some chemicals that you can get to throw in there to help control growth.

Either grass carp which is always the more fun route or we always walked around with a sein net and got most of it out and it stayed out.

Blue dye at Tractor Supply. Cut off the sunlight and it can't grow.

When I checked the fish wagon said they could not sell grass carp.
