    Remove from gene pool, or give him time?

    This guy has been at my feeder every few days the last 2 months. He looks to be 3.5 but missing the G2 on one side. I don't see any indication that the G2 was damaged/broken off - beam looks smooth where it should be.
    So, remove from gene pool or not?

    If you can let him walk, I'd like to see him in another year. Who knows what kind of freak he may turn into. Especially with that long brow tine.

    If not, then choot 'em.

        I bet he looks a lot different than he did 6 weeks ago when these pics were taken. And I bet he might now have a right side G3, that side was just lacking a little symmetry.

            No, those were the best photos. More recent ones didn't show any better development.

                          I was thinking he was young but you may be on to something.
