    Another blind build...

That's right, I'm building another one. Three or four years ago I did a DIY for a rifle blind build. This time, I am fabricating a 7'x7' bow blind that will be on 8' legs. Today I pulled what materials I have together to inventory and make a purchase materials list.

Years ago I purchased 150 3'x5' 1" thick Fiberglass coated foam board drop-offs from a local blind manufacturer. This is what I will use for the walls.

Tomorrow I will update as the fabrication begins.

I went ahead and got a jump on it. I ripped down a few 2x4's and fabricated the front wall. I still have to trim out and hinge the window insert (the piece I cut out) to block out the elements when I'm not hunting as well as trim the two outside seams. I will cut and tie the burlap in a couple spots that I can shoot out of.

I will be installing a solar panel, controller, batteries, inverter, Red Neck AC, heater, and lights. Oh, and my cot will go in the corner and the Ozonics overhead

I know, if I had my druthers I would have went with PT but, finances wouldn't allow it. The floor is all framed! Time to flip and deck.

I used subfloor adhesive, stapes, then screws for the decking. I didn't want to chance the floor popping or creaking.

Legs have been predrilled and the braces cut to length.
