TFAA State 3D shoot this weekend

For everyone out there who might not know. Tejas Bowmen archery Club in Corpus Christi will be hosting the TFAA state shoot this coming Saturday and Sunday, May 16th and 17th.

LINE TIMES FOR BOTH DAYS: 9:00am for 3D and 1:00pm for the 900 round

You do not have to be a NFAA member to shoot either event, You may shoot course as a guest. However you do need to be a member to be eligible to win TFAA prizes.

The crew out at Tejas has been working like an animal to make this one of the best shoots of the year. If anyone has any questions let me know and I will get you taken care of. We are looking for a good turnout and lot fun! Hope to See you out there this weekend!!!!

Sorry for the confusion and thank you for catching that DPerez905. It is the 23rd and 24th of this month. When we originally set our schedule earlier in the year, we had a regular club shoot scheduled for last weekend(16-17) which we cancelled once we learned that we had the winning bid for the state shoot. Again thank you and sorry about any confusion.

DPerez905, are you going to come out and shoot?

There is a 3D shoot in the morning starting at 9 and a 900 round in the afternoon starting at 1 both days.

You do not have to be a member to shoot it, but you do have to be a member to be eligible to place.

Jarrett, whats up with having to shoot the 900 round for points also? Shooting at paper isn't 3D. Thats a whole lot of shooting for the average 3D shooter much less a good shooting hunter wanting to compete. As much as Id like to shoot it Im out on that 900 stuff. Especially since I haven't been shooting.

Two completely seperate events. You do not have to shoot them both.

Ray as far as that goes on our schedule that info is incorrect. At the state and regional level, the NFAA pretty much leaves everything up to the hosting club. Which has lead to a lot of confusion.

But just talked to TFAA, and here is the final answer. You DO NOT have to be a member to shoot OR to win it. You DO NOT have to shoot both days, and the 3D and 900 are completely different, and you DO NOT have to shoot the 900.

Sorry again for all of the confusion.
