    Hammer to hawk

    Forged myself a new throwing hawk out of a ball peen hammer. My boy got second place at last weekend's tournament with it, so, my boy has a new hawk...

          Thanks, I had a lot of fun making it. I'm going to make more and in various sizes. Yard sale, flea market and pawn shop hammers are CHEAP!

                      Eye was enlarged using three drifts. Not quite as big as a Cold Steel hawk, but a lot larger than it started. I only had to shave a standard tomahawk shaft down about 1/4" from original size.
