It has been a couple of months since I took on the challenge to build me a smoker. With the help of my son, we got this thing looking pretty good.

So how does this work? Do you just use lump charcoal? Is the valve on the bottom to restrict air flow. Very interesting build. Ive got a 30 gallon drum in the shop I might try this with.

I use I mixture of lump coal and charcoal with a few pieces of wood chunks. I have 3 air inlets at the bottom. 2 are straight threaded pipe and the 1 ball valve. You do control air flow with the inlets.Comment
