Are 340s too stiff for my rig

Bowtech Experience set at 62#, 28" DL, arrows 27 1/4". Are my 340 Beman ICS Speeds too stiff? Should I switch to the 400? It's my understanding that I'm right on the border. Some charts say 400, some say 340. I know it's better to be a little stiff but are 340s too stiff?

You could shoot 400s. You are right on the border line between the two.

If you can shoot your broadheads with no problem I would stay with 340s. If you are having tuning issues id buy 3 400s and try them

        Depends on point weight.

I'm shooting similar arrow with 100gr points @ 70# in a Z7 with no problems.
340 sounds to me like it could be too stiff. I'm going to go back to the chart and verify my setup.

I'm fairly close to your setup with a Martin. The PO was shooting 300s so that's what I bought. Arrows were fishtailing at 30+. Bought 400s and stopped the fishtailing. Figured spine was the problem.

I'm shooting a 60# Experience 29" DL with Benman ICS Hunters 400 - length is 29.75" I believe. I have never shot 340s through it, so cannot compare the two, but I do shoot the same bow at near same # with similar draw length. They do me right, so have not felt the need to experiment.

100gr points, by the way: 3-blade muzzys and magnus stinger buzzcuts

I shoot 340 and am very close to that poundage, maybe a little higher. I didn't have a problem tuning my bow.

                  I'd recommend 400 cut to maybe 27"
