    What glue to use????

I am having problems getting my feather to hold on my FMJ's..... What are you guys using with good results?? (EZ Minnie)

I don't have any experience with feathers but I've been fletching blazers with Loctite Ultra Gel Control and it is working great. I used it on my outserts too and haven't had one pull off unlike some of the other glues I tried.

Using feathers, you may have better results with the loctite liquid super glue. That's what I use on mine (gt shafts though). The porous quill of the feather does well with the liquid. The feather will fail before the glue does, in my experience.

I use fletchtite platinum on my feathers and it works well. have you removed the mill finish from the fletching area of the shaft? have you wiped them down with dna or similar solvent prior to fletching?

Steel Force Beyond Bond with the excelerator. You will have to chisel em off. No whipe no nada. Just stick!

If using feathers then consider fletch tape. Look at traditional supply shops like 3 Rivers. Its easy and sticks like crazy. If I use that I put a dab of fletch tite at the front and back of each feather.

Thanks for the tips! I have been using the fletchtite platinum but maybe not wiping them down well enough or letting them sit in the ez for long enough before pulling them out..... I will look at the other recommended brands too!

How long should they stay in the jig?

                  Sorry new to this......

I let mine sit in 7 minutes before handling.

Use Fletching tape, clean the shafts with 95% denatured alcohol. I hate to refletch the tape sticks so well.

I use fletchtite platinum and I let then sit in the jig for 15 minutes before I touch them, with good results

Because fletching is relaxing and it gets me away from the grand kids.

Im with Ragin on this one. Yall could have been prepping for hunt for the other 12 minutes lol.

Gold tip Tip Grip is good or what Ragin mentioned. Stuff is hard as a rock.
