    East texas feeders

Everytime That i have checked my feeders so far every piece of corn has been eaten. Usually it just piles up and starts sprouting. Has anybody else noticed this.

After two straight seasons with bumper crops I'm thinking you may be right (I hope so anyway). Haven't seen many acorns on what few, scattered oaks our lease has.

Come on cool weather! Come on deer season!

The deer are definitely on corn here in East Texas. So are the hogs.

For any east texas guys that feeders normally don't work for....

We got two of these "dump feeders" and they work good. Quiet, silent, hang a bucket up high and it will dump corn either 1 time a day, or 2 times a day whichever you buy. So far no problems.

I have just started seeing deer come to the feeders. All summer it has been hogs. I put up a feeder that has a protein tube on it and have been keeping corn in it so that the hogs can't get to it. The deer seem to like it more than the spin feeder.

I have been waiting on a review of these. Im worried about the squirels tearing it up. Is the whole point just to be quiet and look like hand corn?

Yeah, only had it up a few weeks.. Gonna pull cameras saturday... It went through a 5 gallon bucket in 2 weeks...im hoping that where I have it hanging only way to get to it would be a squirrel to climb down the rope to bucket and then he'd slip off side of bucket trying to reach the dump latch thing....

It's silent. works off a AA battery and if I set it at 8 am I just wind it to where it goes off 23 hours later (7 am) the metal arm will push the latch and the bucket is filled with 2lbs of corn, it dumps it quickly, then a weight pulls it back up and it relatches... repeats every 24 hours...

Point is to be silent, hidden up 10-15' and not look like a feeder. Always hand corning per say at 7 am
