    Trailer question???

    I'm planning in using this little jet ski trailer for my kayak hauler and was wondering if I can take this axle loose and re-mount it under the springs to give me room to go with bigger tires/wheels and to give it more ground clearance. Seems like I've seen it done before but I don't want to mess with it if its more trouble than its worth. Any suggestions? Thx.

            I always hear of people flipping the leaf spring over and it gives them more clearance on their rv's.

              Yes you can. If your axle seats are not welded on to the axle, I would recommend you do that.

                  No, those are slipper springs. Flipping the axle will do what he wants, and larger tires will give him more ground clearance.

                        If the spring perches are welded on, and they should be, just flip the axle over. You can get trailer HW somewhat reasonably priced at tractor supply or NH Northern.
