    Trailer GUT.....and Rebuild...

I bought this trailer a while back and I have been rounding things up to rebuild it. It was an office trailer but needs alot of work. 1st order of business is to start collecting things that I need to rebuild it (plywood, hot water heater, insulation board, cabinets, counter tops, etc....) There is alot that I am looking for but I have enough to get started.....

The ceiling is good and insulated so it stays...
The walls are not insulated so it will be insulated and replaced
The floor is solid and 2.5" thick so it stays
The carpet has to go.. I am not sure what I will put down..
Electrical is good and it is a massive over kill but I like it that way...it stays
A/C's==> 1 works 1 doesnt. I need to find an AC since I have two holes.
AC holes need to be rebuilt and reinforced
Fender Wells inside have rusted out so I will need to fix the holes
The trailer used to have a trim piece around the outside and a lot of it is missing, so all those screw hole have been leaking, rusting out the bottom of the wall. Sheet metal will go in there
Roof does not leak so i will just coat the top just for preventive maintenance
    Tires are good...
There will be 1 bed in it, shower, toilet, kitchen counter, fridge, sink, recliner, sofa, tv...
    The trailer measures inside 28'x7.5'

I plan on taking my time with this one and I will keep you posted...

Any tips, tricks, hints, ideas or materials is always welcomed........

Here is the trailer and it is built like a tank...(not your ordinary enclosed trailer) so money dumped into it should be worth it...

Yes it does! Could you put a turret with a Barret in it on the roof and hunt from there?

We ripped up carpet in our old deer lease trailer this past summer and actually elected to put some vinyl tiles down. Simple, easy to do, and pretty easy on the wallet as well. We just didn't want to deal with dirt and mud vs. carpet and make clean up much more easier.

This is the way I would go since its for the deer lease, only thing I would suggest since you have all open space is to use the sheet vinyl floor that you buy off of the large rolls, will be very easy to lay and easy to clean up.

              Nice trailer and keep posting!

Did some Red Neck Rat proofing.....

If the rats chew through the steel wool they will eat it and it will kill them... The foam forces them to chew through it so that they don't just drag it out...

In my old travel trailer I had mouse problems and I did this and it killed 5 mice trying to get out of the trailer. They didn't even put a dent in the steel wool....

Make sure you use the coarse steel wool not the fine stuff..

I have been doing a little here and there... Holes patched, walls insulated, middle wall door moved, electrical ran, ac holes re–framed, osb board installed, 3 gallons of kilz and then painted off white....
