        nice idea, but where i live i would have to have a diesel powered pump to put the water into the bucket. kinda like an electric car that needs a coal fired power plant to put fire in the wire.

                    They installed this style hydro generator on a fishing cabin on a tv series called building alaska aloing with a wind turbine. Their system ran off water from a near by creek to charge several batteries.
