Double t euro for my buddy

My bud Jace shot this nice 8 pointer last week and he asked me if I would do a euro for him. Debating wether I should do a poly coat over the plaque after the danish oil dries. I'll post some pics when I mount it tomorrow.

Real nice, I'd leave it without any shine on the finish. Are you going to fill the nail holes? If you can't match the wood exactly you have them so perfectly spaced found them with a black filler material might add interest to the design- just an idea to ponder over a cold beer.

I thought about filling them in with some wood filler, but I thought it added a little character. I think your right, I'm going to skip the poly top coat.

What are the Texas Tech colors? Maybe fill the holes with that using a crayon?

Red and black. I could get some sandable filler and use dye.

What did you use to bevel the wood? I like the rustic effect acheived.
