    Speed nocks?

Does anyone know anything about speed nocks? I have a 09 bow tech admiral and when I had the strings replaced they didn't put any speed nocks on. With the new string I am getting about the same fps, but if I can pick up a few more fps why not. If anyone has any tips on where to start and how many nocks to use that would be greatly appreciated. If I get rained out today I will go to the shop and see what I can come up with.

Its just brass nocks. They didnt put em back on my 82 the time before last i bought a new string. I put em back myself and it jumped 7fps.

do you have a chrono or access to one?
if so, start with two brass nocks on the string about 3-1/2" from the axles. i would litely crimp them until you find where the bow wants them. probably somewhere between the 3.5 to 4.5 from axles but also try different weights (two nocks or three nocks)
watch for a speed increase or decrease with each movement or addition.

You will need to shoot it with them first before covering them. Adjusting the distance from cams will adjust the speed.

Got to the bow shop and they were closed. The only other range doesn't have a chrono (gander mountain)

Mondays! gotta love them. most shops in Texas close on Sunday-Monday.

hopefully you will see a good increase. sometimes i see 3fps and sometimes it's 8fps.

like stated above don't put the heat shrink on until you find the sweet spot.
