OK....This is my first posting in the hunting reports section, so please don't get on me too bad.
I shot this Buck Sunday evening about 5:00 p.m. while trying to stay in the tree stand during the high winds, I really thought the tree was going to blow over.
The best Buck I have ever taken, I am so proud that I was able to take him with my new Bear Bow (Truth II).
He was chasing a doe, she came right straight to my tree like I had her on a string. He made the mistake of coming a little to close to my tree stand and neither one of them new I was even there.
The shot was somewhere between 20 and 25 yards. I made a perfect heart shot and he only went maybe 30 or 40 yards before giving up.
Then, I had to drag him about 800 yards to the truck and man was I give out.
I finally got him in the cooler and on ice about 9:00 p.m.
Now, I will take him to my buddy and get him started on mounting my best Buck ever.....
P.S. If the picture doesn't show up, check out my new Avator.
Thanks and good luck to everyone.
