    2011 lake Grapevine Thread

    Just wanted to start a thread for the hunters that got drawn for the 2011 Lake Grapevine Corp deer hunt.


    I got drawn...Whoot Whoot gonna go out and scout a little Saturday via mountian bike if anybody wants to Join.

    Anybody else get lucky?


    I know I know there are no deer there....just sayin

            Got my call while eating lunch today, my phone was cutting out while he was saying when the permits would be ready. Thought i heard the 8th but could have been the 28th.

                  What i thought i heard, but sounded kinda soon. Looks like i am heading out there wed after some early morning fishing/scouting if the water isn't to low.

                      it is relly true you can only park in the nort area of the lake. form what i have seend the best huniting in on the west side if the lake but getting there woudl be a bear.

                          I got the call. So excited that I don't have to travel this year. Curious to see if any rules changed and what the numbers were. I asked them about the 600 ft from red and they said that does mean from any red boundary line, not just from non huntable areas. That sure does take out alot of hunting area.

                            Question, which of you guys hunting Grapevine was at the Big Game Scoring class yesterday? PM me, and I promise I'm not headed to Grapevine for hunting.
