    Lubbock South Plains Archery Night Shoot

    Due to popular demand South Plains Archery will hold another night shoot on August 20th (after our normal day shoot).

    Our first night shoot was so much fun we have been asked to have another...if you missed the first one please try to join on for this one. It is something you have to see to believe.

    I will post more information when I have it but mark your calendars and plan to attend.

    Not going to make the day or the night shoot ,my daughters wedding is that day, if i was to bring my bow out on that day! You all might not ever see me again.

          I have never been to an actual shoot, just in my backyard. Do you guys welcome newbies?? My wife's 1st bow is on the way and after reading some other posts this sounds like a blast to me and something we both could enjoy. Thanks for any info

              We love newbies!!! Everyone in our club is over the top friendly
              The shoots are so much fun, come to one and you will both be hooked...

                    OK here is what I know about our night shoot so far. It will take place at night!

                      OK really...it will be after our normal shoot on August 20th. Must be registered by 8:30pm We will have a shotgun start at dark. The night course will consist of 20 targets and the entry fee will be $15.00. Cool awards!!!
                      There will be two different classes: (1) Bow Mounted light, (2) Hand held light
                      No spotlights allowed and there will be a 2D cell maximum on the hand held lights.
                      We will have concession stand items available and a few night shoot glow in the dark t-shirts for sale.
                      If you missed the first night shoot try to make this one....they are sure to put a smile on your face.

                        If you like to shoot you will love these 3D shoots. When Cathie says "Everyone in our club is over the top friendly" she means it. They have put up with me and my Grandkids looking for arrows for the past two years with narry a complaint. Please come out you won't regret it. I drive all the way from Snyder just to shoot here. My favorite place to shoot.

                              Will you have the lights up so we can see? Can you please start the "Night Shoot" earlier so I can shoot? Can I shoot the "Night Shoot" right after the Club Shoot since I live so far from LBB?
                              Will see you guys on the 20th. and hope you Newbey's come out and participate, after you shoot one target you won't be a "Newbey" anymore. I was a newbey two years ago and this club will make you feel very welcome. Please come out and enjoy, it is a lot of fun.
