Nice however. Shoot some broadheads. My bow shot bullet holes and I could not hit the target from 20 yards with broadheads.

New guy question, what do y'all mean by making the bow shoot bullets holes?

When your bow is tuned correctly and you shoot your arrow through paper, you have a perfect round (bullet) hole. If it is not a bullet hole, and there are tears left, right, up, down, ect, your bow is not tuned to your arrow. The tears in the paper indicate your arrow has a kick once in flight instead of flying straight.

When tail end of arrow goes through same hole the point made it is refered to as a bullet hole.
Easy to tell the front and back, (point from nock), if the shot leaves a substantial tear.
Botton pic depicts a bullet hole, top pic indicates a nock high tear.

got a bag target 3ft or so behind the paper. shoot from 5ft. away. poster boards i would think would be too thick and not allow a fair tear done by the vanes making it harder to get a good reading on what the arrow is doing

Poster board is too thick and walk back tuning is superior to paper tuning.

craft paper is good, comes in a roll, do a search for paper tuning, I made a paper tuning rack out of pvc to hold the craft paper. Easton arrow has downloadable info on all archery tuning stuff
