    Modifying a Release

    Well I have my backup release that I took apart (off the strap) and I would like to attach this peice to some sort of non-velcro wrist strap. Any ideas on how to do this and what sort of wrist strap to use. I'd like to then just tie a string through hole on the end of the release and then to the wrist piece. Thanks

      Well its what I want to do, but how? I still have the original wrist strap but I'd like to use something that isn't velcro. Like braided nylon or something

        You could use a cobra wrist strap and then attach the release to the strap by a short length of 550 paracord
