    Gettin CRAZY, I tell ya...

    I would like to take this opportunity to vent for just a minute...

    I suppose I'm never satisfied. Perhaps, I'm just cheap.

    This time 3 years ago I could order 12 shafts, points, nocks, and 36 feathers for about 36 dollars. I just filled out an order form for the same and it comes to over 60.

    I think my biggest beef is that I do all the work. All they have to do is package it and ship it to me. Over 8 dollars for the cheap rate postage too.

    When are the demanders gonna make enough to be supplied? I just want a dozen decent arrows. I just want some arrows.

    Okay vent over. Gotta go order them arrows now.

      I think most of it goes into taxes so Congress can get their pay raise. You know we don't pay them near enough...

        I am with you Tracy,I used to pay 17.50 for a hundred full length feathers and 75.00 for a hundred shafts.I can buy carbon blems and make arrows cheaper than wood!Thats crazy,but I still love shooting woodies.

          Oh yeah, I am talking about wood. Aluminum is now 32 bucks for 6 bare shafts. wow...

          Don't even want to mention carbon.

            With fuel being what it is....it is only going to get worse. Everything is going up. My prediction is that we will be in big time inflation within a couple of years.

            Oh and P.S. ....Tracy you may be a little cheap as well

                  I had to stop shooting wood years ago even though I liked them. At first you could buy a 100 shafts and find a bunch of good ones. Then the quality went down and you had to buy better presorted shafts.

                  Good shafts started costing me as much or more than aluminums. Wood arrows took more time to build and were not as durable.

                  I shoot carbon now because by the time I break one carbon I would have bent 5 aluminums.

                  You have to really WANT to shoot woodies these days.

                  And yes the price of gas sucks.
