Pics are a little small, but they look like warts to me. It is an infection of some type, I think viral, and while gross looking doesn't hurt the deer. The warts will fall off eventually.

Did a little checking actually called cutaneous fibroma virus, which causes the warts. They will fall off.

I've got a little buck with a few of those on him. good to know they fall off. I was thinking it might be some kind of tumor.

This deer was on our lease this year....we called him "Smuckers" because he looked like he was carrying around a sack of grapes...
