    youth bow

Does anyone know about the Bowtech Soldier. I am looking at getting my son (age 10) a bow and am wondering what experiences people have had with any.

Sorry not sure about the soldier. My neighbors son just turned 11 and he bought him a Diamond Razors Edge. Really nice bow for a youth It has a huge adjustability for draw weight and length. Check it out. It was under 300 bux, and I believe it came with the accessories.

Its almost the exact same bow as the razor edge but still a good bow. Might want to look into the mission maniac also.

The Diamond, Razor Edge is probably a little better bow for his age group. You can get it from 15 to 29 lbs or 30 to 60 lbs.....Great Bow for youths! I'm not sure if the Soldier will go low enough on the pounds for a 10 yr. old.

Thanks for the help. I have looked at the Diamond but just noticed that Bowtech came out with one also. We have a Mission Pro and am looking to upgrade him to little stronger bow.

Soldier and Razor Edge are much the same bow. Both made by Bowtech and almost identical specs. The soldier has a string stop.

I shoot a Razor's Edge and am about 4 times older, and vertically challenged.

It's quiet, light and will fling an arrow at a considerable pace. I've only got mine set at about 50# right now but like that it can go up higher. My son is 13 and wants the same bow. You can't beat the price and they sell on the used market pretty quickly.

It's as accurate as I can shoot it for certain. The best part is I don't have a lot of money in it and it'll do the job.

They are around $375 here in Garland & Grapevine Bass Pro Shops. I don't have one as I have a Hoyt but I certainly tried one out at the store. In my perspective, you can't beat the price for the quality and the accessories that come with it. If I had to get another bow for the money, it would be the Diamond Razor.

Last weekend my 10 yr old son shot the Diamond Razor and loved it!!! Now he is saving his money for one. The range of adjustment is awesome!
