Trophy Taker Smackdown
Has anyone tried this rest? I'm referring to the regular Smackdown, not the FC (full containment).
Is it as quiet as they say? I'm sure it is pretty easy to set up.

Good morning Tracey. Their full containment fall-away works well, I would imagine the working parts are the same. I prefer the full containment for stalking and for it's safety features. -
Thanks, I'm going to stay away from the full containment because I'd like to use this in target archery, too.

If you are going to use it for target, try a rest with a launcher, lizard tounge type. Most pros will use this type of rest for all target. They are easy to tune and shoot with the most consistancy. Any fall-away can make minor changes without you being able to tell it. Your group will move without being able to find a problem.Comment
