I am new to bowhunting I got this bow from a guy in town wanted to know what yall knew about it. It is a buckmasters PWC I am just wanting to do some deer hunting maybee stick a pig or something like that. I would also like to get into bowfishing but think I might need to get another rig for that any help would be apprietiated. Thanks in advance guys.

I would take it to a pro shop and have them give it a once over sence you got it used, just to make sure everything is in good working order and it don't need a new string or something like that

The bow was made by Bear Archery, and the name of the bow is The Buckmaster with Perimeter Weighted Cam. (PWC)
Any bow is a good bow to get started.

The bow was sold at Wally World. It tends to have a lot of after shot vibrations. Calm the bow down with a good stab, limb savers, and some string whiskers, or a string stop. Welcome to the sport! Have fun shooting it, and pratice with someone that knows bows, and you will learn faster.

Don't get hung up on name brands

If it feels good and shoots good for you that is all that matters. I like my bows but would never say they are better than anyone elses is because of name brand. My favorite bow now is one I bought used on E-Bay for $100 and I have confidense in it. I did need to replace the strings and get it set for me but that is with any bow. Get the bow set to fit you. Good luck and welcome to TBH also.

Buckmaster PWC is a good bow. They were very popular in the mid/late 90s. And if it shoots how you want and fits you well, then it is a GREAT bow. The animals you kill with it will not know if it is the best or what, but they will know it is the deadliest for them!

My bro (bowtechman) has the same bow but its his backup bow great bow. I would just have it checked out and make sure everything is ok on it and then start putting silencing thing on it.
