    Evotek Evolution

Anyone ever had any experience with this bow?

I used to have an Evotek Impact 31...I thought they went out of business? Was a small company in Conroe, Texas that made the bows. Website looks like they will be making a comeback. Not a bad shooting bow at all, mine was really light

Yeah. I believe you are right, I don't think they went out of business as much as a reorganization because of some raw deals they received. I saw the website was under construction but had been updated in 2010 so that's good news.

The reason I ask is my buddy has one and said he would give me a good deal on it and I wouldn't mind having a backup bow. I haven't shot it yet he is bringing it in from out of town in a week or two. Just thought I would see what everyone thought about it.

I had one. decent shooter. back wall was a little mushy, but all in all, not a bad bow.

Jim Glass the owner says he will be back soon.

The bow is slim and light and haven't got to shoot it yet but feel it will be a nice bow from the feel already.

Jim is honoring all warranties on bows sold.

Keep watching the website for updates.

Thanks bud, good to hear. I was curious about the warranties and availability of parts. I might just pick it up for a backup bow.

Yes I would recommend getting it. If it needs anything like cams, modules, strings, etc Jim has it all at his house. He has a string machine to make his own strings. All he lacks now is getting more risers to begin production and to finish his shop. He told me he has everything else including a lot of limbs.

Shot this bow today, literally the smoothest drawing bow I have ever shot. I set my PSE at 60lbs and the Evolution and the Evolution felt like I was pulling half the weight. Felt like it shot extremely fast and quiet.

They do shoot good and I like them being so light. I've never picked up a bow that light before. I'm keeping the Evotek American Hunter and getting it dipped in that water transfer imaging.

I am very good friends with Tim Glass and I know his dad Jim. I have not heard of them bringing the bows back, but I would not be suprized as they have talked about it. The bows are awesome bows and they know that Evotek could be at the top with the big boys.
I do know that they still honer the warranties of the bows they sold.

I am selling a Impact for a friend of mine. It is posted over in the classified forum.
