    Bowtech Sentinel

Anybody shooting a '10 Bowtech Sentinel FLX? If so what are your likes/dislikes? How do you like the FLX roller guard? I'm really liking this bow, and thinking seriously about picking one up soon. Just thought I would ask for some input from Sentinel shooters before I sealed the deal. Thanks.

I'm having a hard time staying away from this bow.
Tunes better than the '09 Sentinel.
The bow is a little long for my liking, but if I shot more 3D, it would make a great crossover 3D/hunting bow.
    Kinda like a stretched Admiral.

Thanks. It is a longer bow. But after shooting 32-34" axle to axle bows, I like the way the Sentinel feels at 36"+. A guy at a bow shop down here was saying some people had the flx roller guard snap in half. It's made of fairly thick material, I can't confirm whether it's rumor or truth.

The FLX guards that have broken have been from drawing the bow (Destroyer) by hand and torquing the strings out of the cam grooves,(derailing the bow), putting all tension on FLX guard causing it to allow the bolt to pull thru.
Bowtech has actually tested the FLX guard by cutting it in two at full-draw.
        Bow does not come apart.
The FLX guard is actually a 'mini-limb', reducing bow-torque app. 50%.
I've seen no issues from all the Destroyers, Admiral FLX, or Sentinel FLX I've sold and set-up.

I'm now shooting the Admiral with FLX guard and love it. After Rocky set it up I did nothing...... NOTHING, to have it shooting 1 1/4" fixed blades and FP in the same spot at 40yrds. I think its safe to say the riser torque issue has been solved.
