    *****Cooler Radio*****

    Get:
    a 120qt. Marine ice chest
    2 Pyle 6.5 2-way marine speakers
    Pyle 600W amplifier
    Pyle 5-band EQ
Car battery and some dry boxes

I put the speakers in the lid facing up. Mounted amp on underside of lid. Put the preamp equalizer in a dry box, plugged in Ipod and made all connections. Not a cheap way of doing it, but it sounds great and is very tough!!! (yes the two speakers are more than enough. I never turn up past about half way while toobin the Frio).

You could also use a smaller ice chest. I bought this one because it had wheels on it and had plenty of room for extra dry boxes for storing phones, wallets, other stuff.

What river would you be taking about?...Because if your talking about the Guadalupe, they, being the law enforcement have banned cooler radios, jello shots and beer bongs. Not sure about other rivers, but just wanted to give you that info, hate for you to build and get it taken away.

Which law enforcement? It is banned in the city limits, but not on the river...unless something has changed.
