To me it's very hard to age deer at all . This time of year they can look younger. During the rut they look older. Post rut they are all ran down and look younger. You can always cherry pick pictures. But to me if you don't have any history it's very hard to tell on deer 7 and younger. Deer that are 10 plus it's obvious. On our deer one thing that our old deer have is mass our young deer do not.
