My wife and I want to plan a trip with another couple to the Bahamas. We would probably prefer to fly there and mentioned staying at an all inclusive. Nothing is off the table so I figured I would see if anyone had any recommendations. Would like to go sometime next summer.

Ritz Carlton is incredible and the Bahamas Atlantis seems to be super hot with folks heading that way.
Been to the Atlantis several times. Even back before the new Royal towers were built.
Years ago it was fantastic, but it has become a very kid oriented place the last few years. It was teeming with 5-9 years olds the last time we went. It was ok, we just avoided the kid stuff and hit the private beaches and casino at night.
And like Oscar said the Ritz is really nice.

I wouldn’t be opposed to going up to maybe 1000-1100/night for both of us if it’s worth it. I looked and couldn’t find much info on the Ritz-Carlton.

Yeah since we are leaving the kids I would prefer something more for adults.
I’ve had a few people recommend sandals.

I have been to the sandal's on nassau and it was great. My friends have been to sandals nassau and emerald bay on one of the other bahamas islands and they liked emerald bay the best.
If you go to nassau a must do is the snorkeling trip with stuart coves. they bring you to two beautiful shallow reefs. then the last spot is where they do the shark feeds and you can watch the reef sharks swimming around, about 20ft below you.

My wife and myself went to Sandals in Emarld Bay and didn't care for it that much. If your looking for stuff while your there it's done off the resort. The cost was around $300-$350 for the both of us. That was snorkeling and fishing. I spent another grand on top of the all inclusive at $7600. We ended up catching a different flight and heading home early and won't be going back.

You will have a blast. We honeymooned over there for a week. So nice having your own boat and doing whatever you want. Couple tips, bring less clothes so you can bring more tackle, grocery shop and get your alcohol in marsh harbour. If you think your gonna need something tackle wise, bring it with you, hard to come bye over there. Buy your frozen bait in marsh too, much cheaper.
