Well I find myself down in south Texas hunting one of the craziest looking deer I have ever seen. I have always favored the unusual vs. Normal when it comes to whitetail. The more messed up the better. This deer i am hunting is a management deer that is probably more of a cull but is so awesome not sure where he falls. All I know is I hope we get a look at him and he is not broken up.

As for where I am hunting, I am on the north end of the western side just east of southern tip on east north east south Texas. :-)

Tucked a popup 18 yards from hand corn. SE BREEZE and hot. More to come.

I was in the exact same place last week using pea gravel and vanilla, he never showed...... I guess a poacher got him.

Just had a bobcat and a fawn come by. Also hag a giant typical cruise through but did not stay.
