Default Bison Coolers by Brute Outdoors

We've worked really hard to build the Brute Outdoors brand since 2011 and owe a lot of our success to TBH. After working through a trademark issue, we're rebranding our company as Bison Coolers. We're still the exact same company producing the exact same ice chests just with a new name.

It will take most of 2015 to complete the transition and we'll continue to sell products under both names but rest assured that we'll maintain the same level of American-made quality. In fact, you'll notice the branding is nearly identical to Brute Outdoors.

We just wanted you all to know that we're not going anywhere and will continue to build the best coolers on the market right here in the good ol' USA. Please help spread the word about this change and we appreciate your support!

It's really a mixed bag right now. These will be one of the first things transitioned but we'll still have some Brute on hand. If you look at the logos, the bison is still there along with the same font. Most folks probably won't even notice.

You should have received a mass email earlier in the week with details. It's going to take months to update the molds and the only changes will be (1) inside the lid and (2) the dometag on the outside. Aside from that, the coolers will be exactly identical. I'd recommend keeping your signage up until we have replacements. We'll be co-branding for quite some time in 2015 so absolutely no harm done. Thanks bud!

Sucks

But here's the deal people buy coolers for a variety of reasons and you fit all of them.

Yall will do fine and your brand isn't just based on a name it's quality of product.

Does the name change have to do with the other manufacturer under the same name? I always wondered if yall was affiliated.

I personally would have changed the name to Prestige Worldwide Coolers. Some guys might get that.

But as long as the quality and customer service doesn't change, yall could rename the company to Pink Pansy Coolers and I'd still own one.

I have enjoyed the Brute banter over the years but I'm ready to transition my brain to Bison.

Best to you guys.

I used to own legdog.com and then I let it lapse and some firm that registers tons of semi common addresses snatched it up. I could buy if I wanted to burn some $.

I'm a fan. I think I like the name "Bison" even more than "Brute" - although I'm sure nobody likes the idea of being forced to change. I have no doubt it'll be a seamless transition - from a customer standpoint.

The Brute Softpak in tan was on backorder from Brute a couple of weeks ago, so I ordered one from a company who told me on the phone that they had a tan one in stock. The next day I received an email informing me that they were on backorder. I was bummed, but decided to wait rather than order it in black. It arrived this evening and I was totally surprised when I opened it and it had a big Bison Coolers emblem on the side of it. I thought I had been scammed until I found out about the change. Awesome looking soft cooler and can't wait to try it out.
