Thought about it? Heck yes!! Unfortunately that might be hovering on the boundary of hunting etiquette. Im sure people have done it. Might be an interseting thread?

Please do. I think it's a great idea. Then email me the video because it might be bad to put it on a public forum...

Hypothetically a 5 gallon bucket full of big nails, ball bearings, etc sure would do some damage.

It's been done and videoed. The explosion by itself didn't kill the pigs. Like said earlier it would need some shrapnel.

Come up with another idea that doesn't make "hunters" (not really what I'd consider hunting) look like total bung holes.

I was fishing with dynamite once and the game warden walked up. He said "You know, fishing with dynamite is illegal." I lit another stick of dynamite, tossed it to the game warden and asked him "Do you want to fish or just talk about it?"

Continuing with the hypotheticals, I may have been hypothetically researching this very thing last Thursday. If some person was to do it. That person may want to use an AR. Set off the explosion, then take down as many as you can with the rifle. Even if you don't kill them all, they will hopefully be so scared that it will probably be a while before they come back around... Hypothetically.

ATF may consider that an improvised explosive due to the nails, ball bearings or whatever else is being propelled during the explosion, may want to check with local pd before anyone posts pics or videos of it on here last thing we want is abunch of negative attention for tbh or yourself to get slammed. However, I would like to see such method.

There was a video of a group of hogs and I think the explosion took out 2 with the rest of the herd running away. To eradicate the herd a semi auto shotgun would get more hits and have some friends help spray the herd, Then finish them off with a .22 or something. That will keep them away for a month or so.
