      a few from every age class.....lol

      we started this the other day in Sippys thread. valid points on both sides. interested to see the responses.

        I haven't read it yet but I started trying to shoot does from every age class this last year. I think I learned that one on the green screen. I must have missed Sippy's thread he other day.

            HMM good read and thats a very good theory too... I shoot any doe we have so many on the properties I hunt that we have to reduce their numbers so to me on these properties I hunt any doe is game.

              we got into a little at the end of his ongoing property thread.

              it almost boils down to do u believe that genetics or age/nutrition are more important for the herd and/or bucks....which is a whole other can of worms...

                    ok, everyone should shoot doe from their younger age classes because older does will generally have healthier fawns and be better mothers....

                            Makes sense to me. We just stocked 6 bred does that are tagged and our goal this year is to harvest all untagged does. This will be quite the feat being that we are bow only.
