I was a huge fan of Road Trips but I don't think I've ever seen Bone Collector for whatever reason. The teenager in me laughs every time I hear that name though.

Really? Maybe it's just me then I feel like he's not the feature guy when the show was built around him to begin with. Heard from a buddy of mine that's in the loop of the industry said he's going through the big D for an affair with producers wife. Hope not true I always liked him but as a married man kinda hard to like any man that'll do that

I heard that too, probably a year and a half ago, and my wife is still trying to find out the scoop on that, to no avail. She likes him but that'll dang sure change if she finds out that he really did cheat!

Wow! Perfect posting of this. I had my remote in hand last night and saw Bone Collectors on the screen and kept going. I did not even check to see what the show was about. I NEVER pass on bowhunting but for some reason this show has never been very good to me. I assumed I was the only one that had tired of the same old antics or storylines. I am sure they are realizing this by now and sure some changes will be coming soon.

It is the only show on that will air 22 minutes of hunting with no kills. We have all been there. It is more realistic IMHO.

Michael Waddell has gotten too cocky for me to watch his shows and enjoy them. I miss how he used to be back in the realtree monster buck days. It's a shame because I really liked him.

Ain't never liked wadell myself. Hunting is a great way to spend your life in reflection on your past. Looks like his time spent in the woods was his demise. I quit a $60,000 salary job cause all the time outta town and alone was tempting me. Now I work 40 hrs a week and come home every night to eat diner with the fam and put em to bed every night. I coulda done a lot of things wrong but hurtin my babies is where I draw the line. Sometimes money and fame can change a man if you let it. Look at all the damage done from two people and how it's affected so many. I'd rather be broke and happy than rich and miserable!

Road Trips was origianlly just MW.
Then they created Bone Collector as a trio.

This past season, they combined/added the BC crew to Road Trips.

I would guess all of MW's extra-curricular activities, followed by legal issues, cut into his hunting the year before, requiring the changes. I noticed on Road Trips, where he was sending his dad out to hunt more. Real nice, but a clue as to what was happening back at home at that time?

I like both shows, but it shows that just cuz he is a good funny guy with a huntin' show, doesn't mean he don't have issues......like the rest of us.

Heartland Bowhunter is a great show. I just love the way it's produced and the music that's played. All hunting shows don't have to be like a heavy-metal concert.
