Thumbs up Vanderpool- What can you Say....

I had a great time at Vanderpool once again. The weather was great and got a chance to gather with a group of great folks. Caught up with old friends and met some new ones. Only regret was not having enough time to socialize more with everyone.

Kudos to TBOT officers, Bugscuffle and all those who volunteered; you did a fantastic job and we appreciate your efforts.

I am always amazed by the generosity and warmth found in the bow hunting community; however, the compassion I have received from my traditional bowhunting family is truly amazing. I am so glad that traditional archery is alive today and my that tradition live for generations to come!

Lots of fun for sure. Jacob and I had a great time.

Big HAPPY BIRTHDAY (a day belated) to Mr. Larry Harris.

Like Tim said, it was great to finally put faces to screen names and emails. Looking forward to Chester.

Ron, you are taking Jacob and Justin to Chester, right?

I think the weather made this shoot fun. 30 mph winds made arrows stick not the targets at 45* angles, you could not hold your bow steady...I loved and hated it at the same time, lol.

Had a great time for my first shoot! Also got an Arvin Weaver selfbow and Bounty Hunter arrows! The course claimed three of my new wood arrows and one of my carbons! There is room for improvement on my part. Met some new friends and wanted to meet more but so little time! Overall it was a great weekend!

Yes the BH crew had an awesome time!!!! It was wonderful to see old friends, meet some finally F2F and make some new friends. We are very tired, but it was worth it to have so much fun. I don't think you could find any other event with such a great group of folks anywhere in the world!!!!!!

Thanks to everyone that made it possible for such a great shoot!!!!!

That probably won't happen Deb. Not so much her, but me. I don't care to drive that monster on those narrow windy roads and towing a car just makes it tougher. I know , I'm a wimp.

i hated to miss this one sounds like it was a good one, but i was at a wounded warriors banquet and hog hunt this weekend. and it really opened my eyes to what our men and women in all branches of the military have sacrificed and done for us to live peacefully and do the things we do here in the united states. Didnt mean to change this forum i just wanted to give a big thank you and my appreciation to all men and women in the armed forces.

Well I made it to one finally - shoulder was really messed up so I couldn't even shoot one round. Had a great time visiting with all my friends and meeting up with new ones. It is truly amazing just how many good friends have come to me through trad archery in Texas! I honestly can say that shooting at one of these events to me anymore is probably almost at the bottom of the list!

Deb, that was probably when you were raiding Ron Maloni's cooler!! Happy B-Day Miss Deb!! Ron, if you come in the right way you miss 95% of those little twisty winding roads and steep grades. I got it all mapped out for taking my 5th. wheel next year. And I finally got to meet Jo Ann!!!
