I had some mountain lion steaks in Montana at a Hunters Banquet....really sweet meat. I dont know about Bobcats?

Nothing wrong with eating cat just make sure there's no hair and it's well done. Maybe a little pink but definately not bloody.

It actually is legal to hunt bobcat in Ca. You just have to get tags which you are only allowed 5 per year. So he must not have had a tag

Ive heard that bobcat is really sweet tasting meat. I've never tried it but that's what I have heard from others that have.
