Rolled in at 10:30 pm after quick 6 hour drive. Unloaded and headed out to turn off a few feeders and pull cards - only one here for a few days. Even the ranch hand is in Mexico-
Got back to camp at midnight to find no power-
. Couldn't check cards and couldn't sleep cause of bi pap- so..... I lay here dreaming of the shot, the buck"s" I am after this trip.
Power came on about 2:30 am this morning. I jump up and review cards.... Bingo- both deer I am after have been showing every morning - 3:00 am now and I'm so pumped can't sleep- I plan to hunt this am (thursday) through whatever it takes into next week maybe. Hope it happens quick- sucks being at lease alone.

Went down on points from last year being a 13 pt but we have 3 yrs history
As of yesterday finally worked out a great deal on this stud. Last week filmed two at 13 yrds for 20 min-
To say I'm pumped is understatement!!! Ill see y'all in a couple hours. Black buck (males) are finally on menu too- this season has potential to be epic with 3 personal best species - stay tuned.
