Talking Old Cattaraugus knife help

I found an old cattaraugus knife among some of my grandfathers things. Its tarnished and in need if some help. Also needs a new sheath. Anybody help me out with ideas how to clean or anyone good at such? Very cool looking knife. Would like to keep it up. Thanks.

Flitz metal polish will go a long ways to clean up a knife. It's safe for use on metal, wood, bone ect. You can clean the whole knife with it.

This is the knife that I found.

Did a little research and found out that this knife was used in the world war. Pretty neat piece of history!

I don't think I would clean it up then. Cleaning it can ruin the value.
