If your son is the one in the green shirt, I think he ate 50% of his body weight in bugs. You have true mudbug eating champion in the works right there.

What is funny, is that when I first started boiling he didnt like them. Now, I have to beat him away from the cooler with a paddle or he will eat straight from the box!!

Uh oh...people were drooling over the stash...and it was that ol stuff made in Texas.

Actually it didn't get to be "the stash"....we had too many eaters this year and it turned out to be more for the table. Oh well, it was a great time either way.

Mr. Blake's seasoning was definately good and the quality of critters he was able to bring was top notch as well. Since the season is almost in full swing I am about to order a few bags.

D, you are the man brother and thanks a million for the crawfish stirring paddle. Thay means a lot to me and I'm grateful. If you need more seafood boil, just holler and I'll take care of you

Based on the food consumption of your son, I think after he wins a few eating contests, you will be able to retire

Boo, I can have already boiled crawfish shipped anywhere in the country . I know enough people around South Louisiana that do this for a living. I won't make a penny off the deal, just enjoy seeing people eating good Cajun food.

PM sent Mike ...

In Cajunland , after a boil, we take the leftover potatoes and make a potato salad or hash browns in scrambled eggs.

we don't waste no food brother .... that's how I maintain my girly figure

Yeah, but those sat out in the sun for a few hours and had a whole lotta hands in the pile....even some were throwing the eaten bug leftover parts back on the table. We discussed potato salad or late night lobby snacks and chose to throw em away.

I do corn and potatos with shrimp but not that often with crawfish. Don't wanna use up the stomach space...kinda like no sides with good BBQ(other than onions, cheese, japs, white bread)...just the meat.
