    Mountain Bike Hunting Trailer

After seeing different posts about mountain bike hunting on various forums I decided to try my hand. I bought a cheap Wal Mart bike, which I plan on painting and then got on Craigslist to find a trailer.

I found this child's trailer for $40.00. After a little renovation this is what I've come up with. I carried my kids around the yard and I'm sure I could haul gear, corn, lock-ons or even a harvest. What do you think?

It's hard to see, but I zip-tied the platform to the trailer so it makes no noise. Very quiet.

Still using mine for the kids, however as soon as the last one starts riding a bike it is going to be conversion time. While she is 1 so I might need to go look on Craigslist myself to get started now.

the weak point looks to be where the arm is connected to the trailer, keep an eye on that and you'll be GtG

Great Idea! I think I might have left the covering on it though, seems like it might keep stuff from falling out better but then I don't know for sure how it was fitted at the bottom...At any rate COOL!

Maybe you can use some burlap to wrap it or some camo fabric. That blue, yellow and red would of stuck out like a sore thumb but it would of provided a good laugh to another hunter LOL.

                            Looks good by the way!
