This weekend I went to the Baker 3 Ranch for the annual Spring Blackbuck hunt. I decided to hunt the 8,100 acre high fence pasture. There was 5 people hunting on 8,100 acres so we hunted all weekend without seeing another hunter in the field. On Friday evening I had a great Axis at 20 yards but couldn't draw on him do to the 4 hens that I had at 10 yards right in front of my pop up. That was the only good oppurtunity that I had to take an axis but I was able to score my first Turkey with a bow on Saturday evening. This ranch has tons of game on it, especially Turkey. Not a lot of animals were taken this weekend but I think it was do to the fact that we had a high wind the entire weekend. All in all it was a really fun hunt and would recommend this hunt to anyone for a good do it yourself hunt. I think that I will start making it an annual hunt.

This is pretty much all that I know of but a few others could of slipped in and out of the camp without me knowing. It was a lot of fun and there were tons of axis running around out there. You just had to be in the right place at the right time
