Remington Sendero 7mm Mag with Bull Barrel & Leupold 50 mm scope. Normally use 140 gr bullets. Pretty much if I miss with this rig within 400 yards It's my fault. Always shoots little 2 1/2 to 3 in groups at 200 yards. Of course it does weigh a ton & you wouldn't pick it to climb up a mountain with!

I bow hunt only now, but have a .280 from Remington's Custom shop that was my go to rifle. The wife and oldest son share a Ruger Mark II UL in 7mm-08. If I were to gun hunt again, I'd probably use their gun.

Leupold scopes on all our rifles.

I have an old bushnell I've been thinking about putting on it. I also have some see-thru rings that I might use. Hmm..Maybe I'll do that this weekend. And then maybe see if I can find some hogs to test it on.

Come Monday I will either have a new or new to me Marlin Cowboy. 26" octagon barrel, lever action in 45/70........... that should do the trick!!!

But really, it is gonna be my hog gun. I haven't shot a deer with a rifle in over 10 years.
