Back when I had a lease (in Louisiana), we used cheap peanut butter (off brand) in the plastic jar. You'll need a tree, 2inch screw, and large fender washer. Use the screw and the large fender washer to hold the plastic lid to the tree about chest high. Then cut the bottom out of the plastic jar and screw it back into the lid so the jar is hanging sideways from on the tree.
You'd be amaized at how long a deer's tongue is when they go to lick that jar clean. |

The best way I've ever found to attract a deer is to not be in the blind. They always seem to go to every blind but the one I'm sittin in. (sorry...i got nothin)

X2 sometimes add a bit of all grain.
Sorry but i'm going to bring this up. No joke. Have a friend in Illinois that hunts bear in Canada every couple of years. He keeps his wife's used tampons in the freezer and uses them as an attractant. It works but is a bit to strange for me. |

not all acorns are the same. For example white oak have sweet acorns and red oak are bitter. I think they will eat them all but prefer the sweeter.

I have used the peanut butter with mixed results. However I also take a bottle of honey and dump it on an old stump or rotting log, deer and hogs will deystroy the whole thing trying to get the honey out

Used tampon, hanging from Mistletoe, stuck in Peanut Butter Jar screwed with a fender washer to a bearing White Oak Tree, some corn, pecans, and apples scattered just for good measure, oh, and don't forget to smother it with Anise, Vannila, Honey, and Cinnamon.
That outta do it, don't tell nobody if it works or not, may get you a tour of the Loony Bin!!!!!!!!!! |
