I dished out $24 bucks for some cmere deer 3 day harvest. I spread it around a corn pile that had been there a week. A 5 point buck came out took one bite of the cmere deer then proceded to eat the corn instead. Anybody had any luck with this stuff?

Tries it, wont use it again. You could have bought 3 bags of corn or rice bran for that price. i have come to the conclusion if they are not eating the corn or rice bran then they are just not coming to attractants. All of these other gimicks are 3x the price and dont produce any better results. Stick with what works not what the celebrites much less the ones that made a living from a fishing show try to sell you.

I swore off ANY commercial product after I started using rice bran from my local feed store. $8.25/50# and it works wonders. I also found a recipe on TBH for "angel dust." I will be trying that soon.

I have a new concoction I'm trying out. 1 bag of "deer cane" from wallyworld around $7/bag. Add a box of oatmeal, one bag of cornmeal and one little box of rocksalt. I shouldn't be disclosing this because I might want to market it some day. Have tried c'mere deer without any noticeable success. They will choose corn every time.

I've had success with Acorn Rage. Bought 15 bags after the season ended when Walmart was dumping them at $3.00 per bag.

If deer are not coming to the feeder already, why is the big boy going to come out because you dump perfedtly good money on the ground. I'll stick with the corn

I think a lot of that stuff is just gimmicks to sell to hunters. We are a fickle bunch that will try anything new...i am the worse. Dont know how much junk i have bought through out the years[like the silent call...what a joke...every time i blew it the neighbors dog would go crazy...ha..threw that on in the woods]....Shoe

You can get it at pretty much and feed store. IT is the outside of the rice they polish off. It is very high in fat, fiber, and protein. Better for them than corn, only down fall you cant sprinkle it down a long road like you can corn.

Rice bran(powder not pellets) is FOR SURE a proven winner(and its cheap).I think its one of the main ingredients in C'mere deer anyway. I poured a 50# bag on a stump just in front of my camera. Almost every pic was them standing right in front of the cam and not eating the corn till it was gone. Sprinkle some strawberry jello packet too. Molasses works ok too i guess. Gd luck

I mad up some magic dust w/ rice bran, brown sugar, and stawberry jello. I put a camera up just ouside a food plot and put 5-6 cups out in piles in front of it. the next morning I had 117 pics, 8 different bucks. All of deer eating. I have a corn feeder less than 200 yards away and did not get 1/4 of the traffic on that camera the same night. I am sold.

I've had some sucess with the powder cmere deer, but so far this year I've been using the Wildgame Innovations Greens Engraged and it works great for me. The deer here love it. They come straight to it and when it's gone then they'll start on the corn.

I just mix sweet feed and corn if I want to put something out that is different. Also peppermint candy works good. After the holidays they are plentiful. Take them out of the wrapper and put them into coffee cans until the next year.

I think the Cmere deer works great. Seen plenty of deer eating it on our place. But nothing would eat it right now. To much acorns and browse.

Tried it 2 years ago. Same result. The deer chose the corn over the C'mere.
Cows love it though. |

Bought a bag of Acorn Rage last year when walmart put it on sale for 5.00. Never used anything like that before. I put it on the road in a couple of piles with a feeder 75 yards from the Acorn Rage. The feeder went off and I immediatly had a small 5 point head to the feeder. He stopped before jumping into the feed pen stuck his nose up and went to the Acorn Rage. Immediatly after he reached the pile of rage, another deer, tall 7 with no brows, did the same thing. Lets say that the slick 7 did not make it. Haven't bought any since, but I have to admit that I am going to this week and it will go to the lease with me.

If you paid $24.00 for it, it worked just the way they wanted it to...
