Talking Another Deer Waterer

Saw all the post of everyones watering systems, and took a little bit from everyone. Finally got around to installing mine last lease trip. Just wanted to share my version, and show what I came up with. And yes we covered the tank with an old ground blind that we dont use anymore. Just a temporary fix till the permanent fixture goes around it. Thanks to everyone that posted pics of their watering systems.

Thats one fine set up, I really like the tub in the ground, seems natural and I bet they use the fire out of it..... Nice idea putting the rocks in too, the little critters can get out!!!! Very nice.... Job well done sir!!!

How much was the black tub and where did you pick it up?

The tub came from Tractor Supply. Its a 15g, plastic rubber type feed tub, and it only set me back about $25.

Nice setup looks good. IF you have hogs around be prepared to take spare parts with you when you go down there becuase they will tear it up. You would be surprised at how destructive hogs are.

If the hogs give you trouble add a little cement around those rocks and problem solved if there ever is one...
