    Whats a good knife sharpener?

Whats good and easy knife sharpener? I bought an electric one at Academy and it sucks. Saw some electric ones at a gun show and it looked good but cant remember the brand.
Or better off going back to a stone?

I swear by my WorkSharp. Just forewarn the chefs in the kitchen.

There are a few others that I haven’t tried, but this one just plain works so no sense in changing it.

Warthog is the simplest/economical IMO...the best one to get is the Edge Pro by Apex.

It really depends on how much you want to spend, for the money the Lansky sets are quite nice. On up a little the edge pro apex and the KME and if you've got quite a bit to spend the Wicked Edge is an insanely good sharpener

I’ve got work sharp and Wicked Edge. Both have their places, and both work well. My customs knives only see the Wicked Edge. My beaters get touched up on the work sharp regularly. Work Sharp is the easiest, but will not be perfect. WE puts a perfect edge on, but is much more time consuming.

I'm no good at it either. Which is why I'm always looking for one that's easy and actually works.

                      All you need is this.

Finally, a pocket sized field sharpener with the features of a full-sized sharpener. The Work Sharp Guided Field Sharpener is a compact sharpener with the features of a whole sharpening system.

Spyderco. Watch the youtube video. I've had mine since the 80's and it is still going strong.

If you can hold a knife straight up, 90 degrees, you can sharpen a knife to shaving sharp in 40 strokes.

It can sharpen all kinds of different tools, also.

Wicked edge is my favorite. Kinda expensive.
